MV WILSON DUNDALK Completes Renewal Drydocking in Svendborg, Denmark

We are pleased to announce the successful completion of the renewal drydocking for MV WILSON DUNDALK at Petersen & Sørensen Motorværksted A/S in Svendborg, Denmark. Under the skilled supervision of our Technical Superintendent, Wassim Bembli, the vessel underwent an extensive overhaul to ensure her readiness for future voyages.
The maintenance included a DNV periodical inspection, major inspections, and overhauls of the propeller shaft, steering gear, bow thruster, auxiliary engine, and anchor chains. The hull was also blasted and given a fresh coat of paint, ensuring the vessel meets the highest standards of safety and efficiency.
MV WILSON DUNDALK, chartered by Wilson ASA and owned by WESSELS Reederei GmbH & Co. KG, is now prepared to continue her operations with enhanced performance and reliability. We extend our sincere thanks to all involved, including our technical partners and dedicated crew, whose collective efforts have made this project a success.
Welcoming MV "WES MADITA" to the Fleet

We are excited to announce the newest addition to our fleet, the MV "WES MADITA". This Damen Combi Freighter, built at Damen Shipyard in Yichang, China, was officially delivered to us on May 13, 2024, in Nantong, China. Classified by Lloyd's Register and flying the European Mar (EUROMAR) flag of Portugal, the MV "WES MADITA" is the final vessel in a series of three new buildings commissioned by our shipping company.
The MV "WES MADITA" will soon embark on her maiden voyage under the management of Navi Merchants A/S, offering cargo transport services. We wish the vessel and her crew fair winds and following seas as they navigate the oceans, contributing to the global maritime industry.
This addition marks another milestone in our commitment to expanding our fleet with modern and efficient vessels, ensuring top-notch service for our clients worldwide.
Modernization and Maintenance Completed for MV WILSON DUSAVIK and MV WILSON DUNDEE

We are proud to announce the successful completion of a comprehensive maintenance and modernization program for the MV WILSON DUSAVIK and MV WILSON DUNDEE at STOCZNIA POŁUDNIE shipyard in Szczecin, Poland. Both vessels, owned by Wilson ASA and managed by WESSELS Reederei GmbH & Co. KG, have undergone extensive upgrades to ensure continued excellence in their operations.
The maintenance included a DNV class renewal, the installation of a Ballast Water Treatment System (BWTS), main engine maintenance, cargo hold upkeep, and cleaning and touch-ups of the ballast tanks. These upgrades enhance the vessels' safety, efficiency, and environmental compliance, positioning them for continued success in the maritime industry.
We are grateful to all the partners and companies involved, including MARTRON marine electronic & service GmbH, DNV, Alfa Laval, and our dedicated team, whose expertise and dedication were instrumental in the successful completion of these projects.
Successful Dry Docking of MV MICHAEL A and MV CYGNUS in Cartagena

WESSELS Reederei GmbH & Co. KG, in partnership with Blue Marlin as the owners, is proud to announce the successful completion of dry docking for MV MICHAEL A and MV CYGNUS at COTECMAR shipyard in Cartagena, Colombia. These vessels, vital to our Caribbean trade operations, have undergone meticulous maintenance and upgrades to ensure continued high performance and reliability.
The dry docking operations were executed with precision, reflecting our commitment to safety, performance, and sustainability in maritime transportation. This achievement is a testament to the hard work and collaboration of our technical team, the COTECMAR shipyard, and our partners, including MARTRON marine electronic & service GmbH, Kloska Energie- und Motorentechnik GmbH, and many others.
We thank everyone involved for their dedication and expertise, which have contributed to the success of this project. As we look to the future, we are excited about the continued growth and success of our fleet.
Major Overhauls Completed on MV WILSON HALSVIK, MV WILSON HANSTHOLM, and MV WILSON HORTEN

We are pleased to report the successful completion of major overhauls and dry docking for three of our vessels, MV WILSON HALSVIK, MV WILSON HANSTHOLM, and MV WILSON HORTEN, at Odessos Shipyard in Varna, Bulgaria. These vessels, all registered under the Barbados flag and DNV Class, have undergone extensive maintenance to ensure their continued service and reliability.
The work included overhauls of the main engine, CPP, bow thruster, auxiliary engine, gearbox, and starting devices, as well as hull blasting and painting. These efforts are part of our strategy to extend the operational life of these vessels, with a planned age of 40 years.
This success reflects the expertise and dedication of our technical superintendency, the WESSELS team, and our partners. We thank the ship owner, Wilson ASA, for their trust in our management and look forward to many more successful milestones ahead.
MV WILSON DURNESS Undergoes Successful Renewal and Overhaul in Svendborg

We are proud to announce the successful renewal and dry docking of MV WILSON DURNESS at Petersen & Sørensen Motorværksted A/S in Svendborg, Denmark. Under the expert supervision of our Technical Superintendent, Alexander Teiken, the vessel has undergone a comprehensive overhaul, ensuring her readiness for future voyages.
The work included an overhaul of the main engine, steering gear, bow thruster, auxiliary engine, gearbox, and the installation of a Ballast Water Treatment System (BWTS). Additional upgrades included the wash water tank and launching appliances, along with a fresh coat of paint for the hull.
MV WILSON DURNESS, owned by Wilson ASA and managed by WESSELS Reederei, is now in prime condition, ready to continue her operations with enhanced efficiency and safety. We extend our thanks to all partners and crew involved in this project, whose dedication and professionalism have been key to its success.

Wessels Reederei is elevating operational efficiency and safety standards through the utilization of SERTICA. As a reputable player in the shipping industry, WESSELS Reederei recognized the need to meet the ever-changing demands of the maritime sector.
As such, the shipping company set out to find a comprehensive solution that would encompass various aspects of their operations, from onshore to onboard activities. Starting with the Procurement modules, their next logical step is to implement the Maintenance, Docking, and Quality Management modules.

The delivery marks the successful completion of a series of a total five newbuildings of this trendsetting vessel type to the owners.
We have been entrusted with the management and congratulate RHAS on the successful takeover of this smart lady, thank them for the trust they have placed in us and wish the captain and his crew a continued successful maiden voyage from China to Europe.

This CF3850 type Damen Combi Freighter was built at Damen Shipyard in Yichang, China, and delivered to the shipping company on May 22, 2023.
Classified by Lloyd's Register and flying the flag of Portugal / Madeira, MV "WES ESTHER" is the first of three vessels of this series ordered by our shipping company and will soon start her maiden voyage towards Europe.
The CF3850 is a technologically advanced freighter that perfectly complements our existing fleet with its energy-efficient design and environmentally friendly features.
Therefore, we are proud to welcome this lady to our fleet and wish our captain and his crew always 'bon voyage'!
Successful CLASS RENEWAL and BWTS Installation in Szczecin, Poland

We are very pleased to share with you the latest updates on two of our managed ladies, the MV Wilson Drogheda and MV Wilson Davanger, both owned by Company Wilson ASA, currently undergoing their third-class renewal via DNV and the installation of ballast water treatment systems in Szczecin, Poland.
We also took the opportunity to install new IT Hardware and new fleet management software SERTICA incl appropriate training for our officers on Board.
Our outstanding team and partners at place are hard at work to ensure the highest standards of safety, quality, and environmental protection for these vessels for which we commend and thank them and wish them continued success.
